Its the 7th month in the Lunar Calendar, also known as the Ghost Festival Month; and the topic on Spirits or Ghosts happened to be everywhere.
Kitkit: “Mummy, why do ghosts always wear white, especially in the movies?”
Me: “You tell me?”
Kitkit: “They cannot wear black because they only come out at night where there are little or no lights. So if they wear black, we can’t see them! So must wear white, then got contrast mah.”
Oh well!
Though we giggled, cannot deny there seemed to be some truth in that…..
